By using CTRL and F on a MacBook Pro or iMac you are able to find a word that you are looking for on a page. This is the same for the new iPad whereby you word you can tap on the word you are looking for when it comes up and it will take you straight to the area of the article where you saw it originally.
There are ways of conserving the ten hour battery life on the new iPad, the most obvious of which is to dim the lighting brightness on the screen. Switching of 3G and opting for fetching and sharing less data are other ways of ensuring battery life lasts longer.
Fast app switching is another tip which can help you flick effortlessly from one app to another and back. Instead of hunting through various apps simply go to the menu bar by double tapping the button and all of the used apps will be available to view. Scrolling right offers you more apps whilst tapping on them allows you to open them.
On of the most useful things that can be done is copying and pasting. Simply click and hold on the text you want and two blue bars will appear. Drag these bars around the text that needs copying and then hit ‘Copy’. To paste the text simply hit ‘Paste’ when you are ready.
Finally for those with Apple TV there is the option of Airplay Mirroring which can allow you to share photos or self-made films with your family and friends on the television.
