A call came through from a Director of a London based, up and coming marketing and communications agency who had dealt with ITR in a former role. His requirement was for full IT and AV support for a charity event that was taking place in a small independant theatre in WC2.
The initial brief was to supply a large scale projector and screen to display a presentation. On further investigation and with a better understanding of the clients needs who wished to hold a ‘questions and answers’ section following the presentation, we also provided a selection of microphones (both lapel and radio to suit the users preference) a laptop, lectern, presentation clicker and a 32″ comfort monitor.
We also provided onsite Technical support to work alongside the venues AV team to ensure the event was up and running with no glitches. As sometimes happens, this didnt exactly go to plan with the space available on the stage not allowing sufficient throw distance for the projector (so much for careful planning and the conference call we held prior to event to check such details).
Luckily we were able to get a replacement lens to the customer that very evening and our engineer remained at the venue until he was confident that the minor issue had been resolved in time for the real presentation the next morning and the customer was happy. Thankfully the whole event then went extremely well and following some very positive feedback we look forward to working with this customer again!
